The Aker-Kasten Cataract & Laser Institute is a beautiful facility dedicated to complete excellence in eye care. The first floor is designed for medical and diagnostic ophthalmology. The second floor is devoted primarily to surgical treatment of eye disease.
 
The facility meets all Federal and State guidelines for Ambulatory Surgery Centers and we are a Medicare approved facility.
 
Operating Suite
The operating suite was designed and constructed to comply with and exceed hospital and outpatient center standards. Our goal was not simply to meet these standards, but to surpass them.
 
Our concept of outpatient surgery is to create a warm and loving environment and to eliminate the fear of eye surgery. Surgery is a short painless procedure under local anesthesia. Our professional staff is made up of board certified physicians, registered nurses and certified surgical technicians who genuinely care about you, our patient.
