Introducing: Durysta

A nondrop treatment option that lasts around the clock for several months. Durysta is a small, in-office injection that delivers medication directly inside the eye—helping lower eye pressure for months with a single treatment.

No daily drops. Just consistent, long-lasting relief.

What is Durysta?

Durysta is a biodegradable, intracameral implant used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (high eye pressure). It is a prostaglandin analog that works by increasing the flow of fluid out of the eye, lowering intraocular pressure (IOP).

How Does it Work?

  1. Durysta is implanted in the anterior chamber of the eye during a short procedure.
  2. The implant slowly releases bimatoprost over a period of several months.
  3. This sustained release of medication helps to keep IOP low and prevent further damage to the optic nerve.

The Benefits

  1. Convenient, once every 6 months up to a year treatment.
  2. Designed to lower IOP
  3. May be an alternative for patients who cannot tolerate eye drops or have difficulty adhering to their treatment regimen
